Class 2 had a wonderful day out visiting Torquay Museum to learn about life and death in Ancient Egypt. The children were able to explore the whole museum which was full of interesting things including the mummified body of a small boy. They learnt about what life was like in Ancient Egypt and what the Egyptians believed happened to people after they had died. They also took part in lots of different activities. They made scarab beetles out of clay, wrote words in hieroglyphs, found out about different Egyptian Gods and they all helped to mummify George!
It was a fantastic learning experience and a great day out!
